Heaven To Hell
So Falcon Studios is shooting what is probably not only their biggest budget production of the year, but their biggest budget production of all time today in downtown Los Angeles and I’ve been given exclusive access to the set for one day only. Well, you’ve been to one set you been to ‘em all, so I already knew I wouldn’t be needing an entire day! But nonetheless, Falcon is the big one in the gay sex biz. It’s an honor to be invited and I must admit, after having already met their exclusive Erik Rhodes out in West Hollywood one night, I did have a bit of a crush going already so I was anticipating the shoot -- which just happened to be his flip flop scene with fellow Falcon brother Matthew Rush.
The location is none other than porn stress Kylie Ireland’s home, which is really more of a warehouse or a studio than a home. I look for her. I don’t find her. Someone tells me she’s “out.” Um… how? How in God’s name is Kylie Ireland gone when Matthew Rush and Erik Rhodes are walking around butt naked, slapping each other on the ass and making out before their scene has even begun! Erik bounces up and down on Matthew’s lap and tells me that he’s been really looking forward to the scene, although the thought of fucking Rush is a daunting one to him. “His legs are huge,” he says, feeling them up. “How am I supposed to throw these back?” With your big ass arms, I nearly reply!
Director Chi Chi LaRue spots me and immediately wants to show me around the set. The second we’re along she grabs me by the arm, “You know this is my last movie for Falcon. Don’t say ANYTHING to ANYONE.” [Note that this Voyeur’s Log entry didn’t go up until nearly half a year after it was written!] “I’m going out with a bang,” says the long time Falcon directrix. “I really want to concentrate on my own company, but I’m making this movie really huge. It’s actually a gay remake of a straight movie I already did for Vivid.” The sets are amazing -- big atlas like globe balls for slaves to crawl around in with tires piled up to the ceiling, one room nothing but blood red everywhere and another a mirrored hallway. It’s intense imagery and I can only imagine what it would look like against the performers as we step into the dressing room and Matthew and Erik are having horns pasted to their foreheads and tattoos airbrushed all over their bodies. “It’s very different for Falcon, as you know,” says Chi Chi. “They don’t usually go for any tattoos and here we are putting them on!”
A rumor circulates around the set that the movie is also going to feature Brad Patton’s bottoming debut [it does, by the way - and it’s hotter than heaven AND hell!] but no one will confirm. Even the story itself is very hush hush. “All I’m permitted to say really is that it’s about one angel’s fall from grace,” says Falcon President, Terry Mahaffey. He’s a lot more fun to be around than you would expect the President of Falcon to be. “I’m a huge fan of your site, by the way,” he says. “I read it every day.” At first I thank him, just thinking he’s blowing smoke up my ass like everyone else in this business -- then he proceeds to tell me how much he enjoys two stories of mine that were printed less than 48 hours ago! Wow! He really does read the site! I was very impressed with everything about him. For being such a big shoot, he seems totally relaxed and stays very much in the background, letting LaRue and the performers work their magic as the scene begins.
The action is hot and heavy. LaRue screams very loudly. Erik is giving me a hard-on. When I get hard it’s very noticeable. I quietly slip out the back doors.
