Kitchen Composter Bin

Kitchen Composter Bin is an effective, energy-saving way to compost organic waste from the home and kitchen. The Kitchen Composter Bin system uses water in the form of tap water, rather than nutrients like nitrogen or phosphorous (found in fertilizer). It produces a healthy compost in just three weeks, with no need for costly special tools or heavy machinery.

Convenient – Hidden under kitchen sink, every fortnight contents can be retrieved and disposed in landfill

Large Capacity – The aluminium container holds approximately 5 gallons of food waste.

Air-Tight Lid – A cute cartoon animation of an anaerobic fermentation of the proper bacteria, which is the first step to growing zucchini.

Plastic Strainer & Spigot – Due to the placement of the plastic grate inside the bucket, this system efficiently separates waste from liquid. This avoids waste accumulation at the bottom of the bucket and also allows conveniently draining waste through a spigot which is less time-consuming.

Bokashi – An all-natural compost starter containing active, beneficial microorganisms that aids in fermentation.

Each composter comes with a one gallon bag (2.2 lbs.) of bokashi. Additional one gallon bokashi refills available.

Due to the 10-day cycle needed for fermenting, two composters are recommended to have a complete, always-running system.
