Wishing Ball – Hand Blown Glass Balls – Wishing Globe
By taking a moment to show your appreciation, not only are your wishes more likely to come true, but you’ll find yourself living a happier life, too. Fortunately for us, Jill Henrietta Davis has captured the most beautiful way for us to do this.
These globes are hand-sculpted in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Each collection of colors becomes a parade of radiance, whether they sit on your desk, near a window, or on a lighted mantelpiece. The included 52 page notepad lets us write down our wishes and what we’re grateful for, whether we’re having a rough week or just want to be thankful. This small act allows ourselves to become happier, too, because we’re putting a positive intention into the universe.
The nature of this enclosed globe lets us live in the memory of our good intentions, while letting us remove ourselves from the outcomes, since every wish stays inside the globe. When asked why the wishes can’t be removed, Jill Davis said, “When you blow out your candles, you don’t tell the wish you made, otherwise it won’t come true.”
