RED DEVIL ENTERTAINMENT’S “CANVAS”: While Jett Blakk’s ambitious erotic thriller, Canvas, doesn’t quite live up to the heat of his previous efforts this year (Nasty Nasty, The Bombardier), there’s always one thing you can count on and that’s the pairing of director Blakk and former exclusive performer Jason Ridge. This time Blakk casts Ridge opposite Rob Romoni in one of the hottest sex scenes we’ve seen from either of the studs to date. The genius of putting these two together is obvious to any fan of the two – both are incredibly versatile performers and this is showcased here perhaps more than ever as both take turns banging the hell out of each other. The flip flopping is the highlight of the movie, though straight sex actress Kylie Ireland’s cameo is also worth a watch. Familiar performers like Chad Hunt and Nick Capra are as stellar as they ever are, though no more so than anything else they’ve done as of late. The rest of the cast fails to capture both the acting and sexual chemistry of stars Ridge and Romoni.

Blakk is at his best as a story teller and director, but a few lackluster sex scenes distract from his regular brilliance.
